Great version of this story
There is nothing I can say about Kill Bill 1 & 2 that hasn't been said before, but this is a great version of this story, and it is cut together well, with great care having been taken to insure that the story is not hampered by itself. Quentin Tarantino is not everyone's cup of tea, surely, but this is him at his best, and this is a good edit of the work, making it a most enjoyable watch.

For every **KILL BILL** fan out there around the world -- writer and director Quentin Tarantino has decreed that the *only* way to experience his original, uncut vision of **KILL BILL** (before a pre-incarcerated Harvey Weinstein's MIRAMAX convinced him to bifurcate the 4-hour revenge epic for monetary reasons) -- is right now in cinemas.
There is no plan to ever release the film on physical media in its current cinematic iteration as **THE** **WHOLE BLOODY AFFAIR**.
In other words, if you want to experience the four+ hour revenge epic -- now -- right NOW, the big screen is your only opportunity.
With some minor tweaks and extended scenes (especially the anime sequence originally from Vol.1, now gorier, of course) -- including a fully-colorized showdown with Thurman's Bride taking on the Crazy 88's in Tokyo -- also toned down in Vol. 1 from its original B&W rendering to mollify the MPAA who threatened to slap an NC-17 rating for violence -- little else seems altered.
Re-experiencing Tarantino's fourth film becomes an ordeal with an ostensible intermission to give audiences a brief respite to come up for air from the veritable orgy of death.
Seen in its full, gory glory -- by the time Thurman's Bride gets to David Carradine's Bill, we feel just as numb and exhausted with her quest for revenge as she is. But, of course, that is the point. I recently explained that the best way to watch HBO MAX's 15-episode **THE PITT** is to binge it in a single sitting for viewers to best expense the exhaustion of the characters -- something that works in similar ways with **THE WHOLE BLOODY AFFAIR**.
Uncut, unrated and untethered is probably the best way to experience Tarantino's blood-soaked KILL BILL -- and after twenty two years, it surprising how unparalleled it remains both for its epic scope, meticulous homages to the auteur's love of classic 1970s Kung Fu cinema, the samurai ethos', assassin philosophy and the films of Sergio Leone. This is a feast in every sense of the word with oceans of crimson, coagulate gore.
Shakespeare once wrote, *"Revenge should have no bounds"* -- and Tarantino's **KILL BILL** took that to heart!
Fans of the original films will be reminded all over again why they fell in love with these films. As Tarantino's continues to tease that he will be making one more film -- **KILL BILL** might go down as the best thing he's ever done.
See it now the way it was originally intended, uncut and on the biggest screen you can.
