Misha Collins (born Dmitri Tippens Krushnic on August 20, 1974) is an American actor, producer, director and New York Times Best Seller author. He is best known for his role as the angel Castiel on the CW television series Supernatural and for his activism and philanthropy. He is the co-founder and board president of Random Acts, a non-profit organization, as well as the founder of GISH, The Greatest International Scavenger Hunt, known for their charity donations. His most recent projects include a poetry book titled 'Some Things I Still Can't Tell You', being the host of the PBS show 'Roadfood: Discovering America One Dish at a Time', and the fiction podcast 'Bridgewater', where he stars as Jeremy Bradshaw, besides being one of the executive producers.
